From Film Sets to Headshots
My journey into headshot photography has been deeply influenced by my experiences on the film sets of Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago. Over the years, I've had the privilege of working as a Movie Stills Photographer, where I captured the magic of behind-the-scenes moments, talent portraits, and film posters. This immersive experience has shaped my style, infusing a modern and cinematic quality into my headshot and portrait photography.
Education & Expertise
To hone my skills and elevate my craft, I embarked on a path of continuous learning. I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree from Columbia College in Chicago, where I nurtured my creative spirit. Later, I pursued a Masters in Digital Photography from the prestigious School of Visual Arts in NYC, immersing myself in the cutting-edge techniques and technologies that define modern photography.
Celeste, Photographer/Videographer
Celestine is a commercial videographer, photographer, and video editor with a strong foundation in cinematography and visual storytelling. A graduate of DePaul University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Television, concentrating in Cinematography, Celestine developed a passion for both the artistic and technical aspects of filmmaking through coursework in documentary production and technical cinematography. Her experience spans various production roles, including Director of Photography for music videos and First Camera Assistant on feature film projects.
Throughout her career, Celestine has documented a wide range of projects including corporate events and interviews, commercials and brand content, musical performances, and professional conferences. She brings a collaborative approach, technical expertise, and an eye for authentic moments to every project she undertakes.
Outside of work, Celestine enjoys pursuing aerial silks training and spending time with her dog, Bella, these experiences continue to inspire her creativity and appreciation for movement, storytelling, and connection.
Andrew, Associate Photographer
Andrew is a Chicago-based photographer specializing in corporate events, conferences, headshots, and commercial content. As part of the Hummingbird Studios production team, he works across both photography and video assignments, bringing a versatile approach to capturing people, brands, and live events.
Experienced working in fast-paced event environments, Andrew combines a documentary eye with a polished commercial style to create natural, professional imagery for corporate clients.
Outside of photography and video, Andrew is an avid car and motorcycle enthusiast and enjoys playing guitar.
Emma, Photo & Studio Director
Originally from London, Emma worked at British and American Vogue as Assistant Fashion Bookings Editor & Shoot Producer and as a Photo Editor for dailymail.com. Hummingbird Studios combines both her experiences working in photography, production & photo editing into one full-service photography, production, and studio space.
